For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:10-12 

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.  Proverbs 11:3 

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices. Colossians 3:9 

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.  Philippians 4:8-9 

Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil. Matthew 5:37 

And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Luke 6:31

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.  Proverbs 10:9 

A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight. Proverbs 11:1 

Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him who speaks what is right. Proverbs 16:13 

Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. Hebrews 13:18 

So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man. Acts 24:16 

Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Ephesians 4:25

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. James 1:26

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:17-21

Unequal weights are an abomination to the Lord, and false scales are not good. Proverbs 20:23 


But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 2 Corinthians 4:2 

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice. Proverbs 16:8 

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.Proverbs 21:3

 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. 1 Peter 2:12

Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. Psalm 51:6

A just balance and scales are the Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are his work.

Proverbs 16:11

As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.  1 Corinthians 13:4-8 

Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 

 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 

 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.1 John 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 
1 Peter 4:8 

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:14 

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13


So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31 

We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 

Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. Proverbs 10:12 

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18 

 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40 

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; … 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25 

 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. John 14:15 

With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, Ephesians 4:2 

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17 

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1 

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 1 John 4:16 

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8 

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Romans 12:9 

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Luke 6:35

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
